March Shared Plate
Campesina Womb Justice
Campesina Womb Justice is our Shared Plate recipient for the month of March. 50% of donations our Fellowship collects this month will go toward their important work. The goal of Campesina Womb Justice is to build a fair and equitable society for all women, regardless of their background or circumstances. Campesina Womb Justice was started in 2020 by Maria Ramos, a certified nurse midwife, initially bringing womb care kits, Personal Protective Equipment, and herbal medicines to farm workers. They are working to build a campesina-led, self-sustaining Indigenous community that practices Indigenous medicines and promotes reproductive health.
