Join us for Rev. Kev’s report on his recent pilgrimage to the Unitarian Church of Transylvania, the birthplace of religious freedom and inclusion. The theologian Francis David led efforts to enact the Edict of Torda in 1568, establishing Unitarianism and allowing congregations to elect their ministers freely. This initiative represented one of the first expressions of religious freedom and inclusion in Christian Europe. As we broaden our circle, how can a deeper understanding of our Unitarian legacy guide us toward international partnerships rooted in our values of justice, equity, and love?
