Awakening Curiosity – Opening to the Power and the Mystery of the Transcendent in Our Lives

Tell me about the God you don’t believe in,“ wrote Jesus Seminar scholar, Marcus Borg. “I probably don’t believe in that God either.”  But is there an entirely different way to approach and experience the transcendent in our lives?  Is “the transcendent” even real?  How would we know?  Let’s explore a very non-traditional understanding of the “creating, sustaining and transforming power” of life (as UU theologian, James Luther Adams called it) and consider how we can invite it into our lives!
