As a society we love to separate and segregate; compete and contrast. Old vs young, democrat vs republican, black vs white, conservative vs liberal, spiritual vs religious, etc… However, within every ‘versus’ lies value, and it is by embracing the overlap that we begin to evolve. This Sunday we find ourselves situated on the dividing line that separates the east from the west, but with the insight that they are not nearly as different as many have deemed. So join in a discussion that steps beyond geographical, sociological and religious division, and help create a bridge to a better life of faith.
