This year, Sunday, April 13th coincides with the first day of Pesach (Passover), a Jewish celebration of liberation from the “narrow place” of oppression. Many of us may currently find ourselves constricted by narrow places — whether emotionally, physically, or socially, we may feel that the tides of life have risen and threaten to overwhelm us. It can be very difficult to access joy in these times, and yet joy is an integral part of how we resist and transform our circumstances. This service, led by Rev. Esther Wallace, is a meditation on how we might find our way through the narrow places while cultivating radical joy where we are right now.
