In a world that is difficult, distracting, dangerous, and often disappointing, there is every reason to nurture a rich inner life, which we might refer to as “everyday mysticism” or “soulfulness”. Doing so, offers a measure of comfort, provides a heightened sense of life, grants us glimpses of eternity, and pierces the veil between this world and what lies beyond, beneath, or within.
