Courage in the Time of Postmodernity

Postmodern philosophy asserts that we humans inhabit different realities.  Leftist in origin, postmodernism’s most recent incarnation enables the bullying rhetoric of the American right.  This service will ask us to ponder what courage might mean in a world without a single, solid reality.  Drawing on experimental psychology, Buddhist ethics, and 20th-century philosophy, we’ll be called to find a curious, compassionate and courageous form of action that leans into these uncertain, tumultuous times.
