SIENA HOUSE, Santa Cruz

Siena House provides supportive housing for pregnant women and new mothers experiencing housing instability during pregnancy and a baby’s first year of life. Participants live in a safe home while receiving individualized case management, therapy, as well doula and parenting support.  Siena House helps each family build  stability, strengthen confidence, and move toward safe, independent housing.

 

September's Worship Theme:  BEGINNINGS

As we embark upon a new congregational year, we are invited to explore how life, personal and communal, cycles from endings to fresh starts.  Life is chock-full of beginnings, from the sunrise of every new day, to cycles of birth, transformation and rebirth.  Starting something brand new or something familiar, beginnings represent opportunities to carry forward what serves and nourishes with focus on fresh intentions.  What beginning has been quietly forming and waiting inside you?  What does it take to begin?
