Guest at Your Table

Guest at Your Table is a longtime program of the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee (UUSC).  It highlights partnership UUSC has formed with grassroots organizations involved in climate justice, protection of freedoms, humanitarian relief and migrant rights.  We are asked to ponder what it means to be a neighbor in our local and global communities.  This month, we'll highlight a variety of dedicated UUSC partners who are advancing social justice and human rights.

 

November's Worship Theme:  HEALING

Healing is the universal, built-in natural response to trauma for all of us, animals and our natural environment in response to any injury or trauma.  Our UU principles of social justice make this particular time one in which we focus upon and do our part to initiate and encourage healing for ourselves, our communities and our planet.  In this way, healing is a spiritual, communal and social justice practice.
