It is said that we stand on the shoulders of those who came before us; that our current advantages are built upon the discoveries, the trial and error, and collective efforts of past generations. Some of these legacies have been a life-affirming blessing, some have been a tremendous burden. This morning, let us have a look at what we have inherited that is of such value we are willing to make a vow to promote it for the next seven generations.
